“If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just one.” – Mother Teresa

“If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one.” - Mother Teresa

This is brilliant. It breaks the ‘problem’ down into one, easy, simple step – and as we know, even journeys of thousands of miles start with single steps.

Whether you’re looking to make a massive difference in the world, or if you are facing a massive challenge, or a complex, multi-faceted problem, or looking to heal wounds from past traumas, the advice is the same – start small.

One tiny action, one short-term decision along the way, one kind word (remember that one?) or taking things one beautiful, new day at a time – no major accomplishment is ever achieved by just one of these – but every major achievement starts in this way.

That single small step, that one person fed, can make a difference, the consequences of which might start a chain reaction that results in greater success than you could ever imagine.

Yesterday might have felt hard for you, emotionally, professionally or mentally. Today is a new day. Take this new day and make a difference in it – starting with yourself.

Feed yourself – physically, energetically, spiritually or psychologically – whatever you need – but do it.

Create your own chain reaction.

Love and light,

Jim Sharman
